The traditional copper pot stills in the distillery are heated with steam. Distillation takes place here. The cuts between the so-called "heads" (also known as foreshots) and "tails" (aftershots) from the middle run are made with exacting precision. Only the best from the distillation process can be considered for the fine spirits of the Elz Valley Distillery.
